Why Round Two?
My favorite interactions as a barista have always been with those returning customers. Seeing someone’s first experience grow into a relationship, initiated by coffee and based on connection, is a blessing to say the least.
I remember when a daily customer of ours walked up to the bar and I said, “Round two already??” They laughed and I made their usual order. Now whenever he comes back for a second he just says “Round Two!”
After that I realized that a second round of drinks comes about for a few reasons. Maybe you’re in a long convo with great friends, maybe your hours deep into your thesis work, or maybe you are just really enjoying the environment and don’t want to leave yet.
Whatever your reason is, Round Two Coffee Co. is looking to create those experiences that keep you coming back for more. More caffeine, more community, and more moments that fill your day with joy. Get a second round fo the good things in life.
Where Did It All Start?

Born and raised in the Bay Area, I love the culture that we have here which is so unique and energetic. Music, coffee, and entertainment all bleed out of the rich culture that has been growing here for hundreds of years.
I’m guessing 95% percent of the time I’m making coffee or talking about coffee, but this industry is about so much more than just caffeine to me. Coffee has proved to be an incredible vessel for connection. People all around The Bay are aching for relationship and connection. With just one cup and one order we have an opportunity to get to know people and fill a need that goes much deeper than wanting a drink.
People want to be known, want to be seen, and want to be heard. While most of our interactions come and go with little to no recognition, at Round Two I have a desire to use every order as a moment to care for people.
I found connection with an incredible community of people through coffee; people who otherwise I never would have met. So now my goal is to bring coffee to your event to provide, not just an incredible service and product, but also customer service that is rooted in a deep desire to love others.
